Our policies

APPOINTMENT

We meet with clients by appointment only. No walk-ins excepted due to our space capacity. We require our client's full name and phone number as all appointments are confirmed with a reminder via phone call, email, or massage the day before the appointment.

PRICE

Prices do not include GST. Pricing subject to change without notice. 

CONFIRMATION

As a courtesy, we will call or email and confirm your service appointments. However, if we are unable to reach you, and can only leave a massage, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and the cancellation fee.

LATE ARRIVALS

We understand "life happens". We recommend an arrival time of 5 - 10 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment. If for any reason your are expecting to be late, please contact us as soon as possible. We are pleased to accommodate our clients the best way possible and will make every effort to make alternate arrangements. However, our appointments are booked for specific time slots, if you arrive late, your services will be modified to your remaining time slot at the full service price. If you are more than 15 minutes late without contacting us, your appointment will be cancelled.  

24 HOUR CANCELLATION

Our appointments are confirmed 24 hours in advance. Since the services are reserved for your personally, a cancellation fee will apply. You can cancel or reschedule the treatment without charge until 24 hours before your appointment.

* $50.00 non refundable deposit fee will be charged on next service for less than 24 hour notice.

* NO SHOWS will be charge $100 for a missed appointment. 

Appointments made within the 24 hours period and need to cancel or reschedule, the client then must cancel/reschedule within 4 hours of appointment time or will result in a charge $100 by credit card on the next appointment booked. 

Payment in advance may be required for those with a history of no shows or cancelled appointments without 24 hours notice.

GIFT CERTIFICATE

The gift certificate is not redeemable for cash.  The gift certificate is not to be combined 

with other vouchers and is not valid with other discounts, promos and offers.

 

The gift certificate is non-transferable and resale is prohibited;

If a gift certificate is lost, stolen, destroyed or used 
without permission, a replacement will not be provided.
 

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

We require our clients to contact us within 48 hours of the treatment if  for any reason they are not satisfied with the result or anything at all. An appointment is then made to come in and consult to fix any issues.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

NU:YU Beauty Lounge offers treatments to teens over 18. 

Any guests under 17 years old of age require adult supervision.

PAYMENT METHOD

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Interact Debit and cash. We do NOT accept personal cheques.

PET AND CHILDREN

We do not allow pets in any of our locations as they conflict with our sanitization policies. We do not allow anyone under the age of 13 in our location.

REFUNDS

If you are not satisfied with a product, you may bring the product with the original receipt in, within one week of the purchase date, for an exchange or spa credit. The product must be at least 80% full for us to issue a refund. We do not give refunds in cash, credit card or debit.

if you are not satisfied with the service, let us know within 48 hours of the appointment. A complimentary redo, fix, or alternative solution may be offered. We do NOT issue refunds for any services provided.
